My family had the chance to sample an eat2explore Fun Box and what a good and delicious time we had! Eat2explore is the only family cooking kit that delivers cultural education through cuisine while providing the hard to find spices and sauces that make the meal really unique.

Read & Sign Storytime is the 4th Sunday of each month at 2 pm!

Did you know babies as young as six months can learn to sign? Signing strengthens communication skills and encourages children to be more active participants in their environment.

Children can listen to and watch this storytime in partnership with the Deaf Mentor Program. Deaf Mentors are highly trained deaf or hard-of-hearing adult role models who introduce families to Deaf Culture and promote family relationships through natural language acquisition.

Does your child struggle with reading? Sometimes all kids need is a Tender Little Heart to listen.

Therapy animals encourage children to read by listening quietly and patiently as your child reads from a book. Your child can bring their favorite book to read or choose one from Bookmans Phoenix. Children ages 4-9 years old are encouraged to read to a miniature horse.

This event is by reservation only. To reserve your time slot, please visit this link.

Are you ready for some turkey, great friends and family? The holidays are just around the corner.

Thanksgiving will take place on Thursday, Nov. 25. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed national Thanksgiving Day to be celebrated the last Thursday in November.

Thanksgiving is a day that doesn’t always fall on the same date each year unlike Halloween or Christmas. Thanksgiving is a great time to be thankful and appreciate who you have and what you have.

I asked some of my classmates and teachers what they were thankful for.
