 The RMS Titanic was a British passenger ship that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15, 1912, after hitting an iceberg. I have been interested in this famous ship and wanted to know more.

The Titanic commander was Captain Edward Smith. He went down with one of the largest ships of that time. According to Wikipedia, the Titanic carried some of the wealthiest people in the world. The ship also carried hundreds of emigrants from Great Britain, Ireland, Scandinavia and elsewhere throughout Europe, who were seeking a new life in the States.

 October 1, 2021 will mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The anniversary theme is “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” and the celebration will last for 18 months.

Festivities will be taking place at all four theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Each of these locations will come to life with a magical glow called “Beacons of Magic.”

There are plenty of activities for everyone, including a big dig where kids can do their own scooping with a kid friendly backhoe, inflatable rides and a Home Depot kids workshop, while supplies last. This completely FREE event takes place in the East Parking lot at the Westgate Entertainment District located at 6770 N. Sunrise Blvd.
