We're going EXTREME this year and blanketing Heritage & Science Park hill with over 75 tons of snow. No matter your age, you’re invited to play in the snow, and participate in interactive science demonstrations by the Center’s Blue Crew.

Frozen & Scientific Fun | Tuesday, Dec. 26

Snow Week 2017 kicks off with a special showing of Walt Disney's Frozen at 9 a.m. Included with general admission.

November 18, 2017–May 28, 2018

On August 24, 79 A.D., the Roman city of Pompeii was frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius, burying everything in its path for more than 1700 years. The same ash and debris from Vesuvius’ unpredicted eruption that destroyed the city also remarkably preserved it.
