15TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS (PHOENIX)

The 15th annual Festival of the Arts is a free celebration of the arts in our community and showcases performances by Valley arts organizations , live music, interactive Kids Zone, vendor market, artist demonstrations, food, and wine and beer garden. Our goal is to connect our community with the arts and provide an opportunity for people to experience a wide variety and diversity of arts at no cost.

KIDS LEARN ABOUT BUSINESS

Have you ever heard of the Children’s Entrepreneur Market? On Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Desert Ridge Market Place, 21001 N. Tatum Boulevard in Phoenix, many kid entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to sell their products or services. Children can sell almost anything handmade, store-bought, food, games or services. This market is completely run by kids ages 5–17.

PATTERSON'S "WORD OF MOUSE" IS A FAVORITE

James Patterson is a renowned writer, but of all his books, “Word of Mouse” seems to be one of the lesser known. However, it happens to be one of my favorites. Illustrated by Chris Grabenstein, the book is filled with beautiful depictions of what is happening in the story.

SENSORY FRIENDLY PHOENIX ZOOLIGHTS

During this special evening you can expect the same great ZooLights with some modifications to make it more sensory friendly.



Sensory Friendly ZooLights includes:

-Smaller crowds due to limited tickets available for the evening

-A quieter music volume throughout the experience

-The Lake Lights Show turned off to reduce flashing lights

-The lights on the Arizona Trail will be static or very slow-moving

ZooLights admission tickets are good for one (1) single admission on any public night of ZooLights. Dates and hours are subject to change without notice

Tickets are valid for any one night between November 27, 2024 - January 12, 2025, from 5:30 – 10:30 p.m.*

*Monday, December 2 is Sensory Friendly ZooLights and requires a separate ticket.



Children 2 and under do not require a ticket.
