Pima Theatre starts off its season with family-friendly ‘Ballet & Bagels’, directed by Milta Ortiz. Original work written by Pima Theatre students, with lead writers Missy Fowler and Milta Ortiz. This play features a diverse cast that centers on a young Latina who struggles to make friends and wants to dance at the ballet studio next to Nana’s Bagel Shop. Frequent customers, The Bagel Bros and The Bagel Boys share a love of bagels much like the girls’ love of ballet but will they all become friends?

BARRIO BLUE MOON NEIGHBORS TO TRANSFORM INTERSECTION

AT BLOCK PAINTING PARTY NEXT SATURDAY

On Saturday, October 1st, local non-profit organization, Living Streets Alliance, and the Barrio Blue Moon neighborhood will host a special community block party, inviting residents and friends to transform the intersection of Helen Street and 14th Avenue. Together, the community will paint a colorful traffic circle that will beautify the street and calm traffic to improve safety in the neighborhood.

In the spirit of fun for Halloween this year, we are going to supply a safe place to bring your children to celebrate the Halloween Holiday. We will be  following COVID safety protocols and are looking forward to having a safe and fun time. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Spooktacular is back at the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center this year! This Halloween themed event features games, crafts and a trick or treat lane hosted by local businesses giving away candy! A live DJ will keep the beats going as kids have fun as their favorite costumed characters. Event and candy are free.
