Sixth-12th Educators are invited to join us virtually for the NASA TechRise Educator Workshop on August 27, 2022, 10:00-12:00 PT. Learn more about the challenge, high-altitude balloons, and how to develop a NASA TechRise proposal. 

Participants will be able to interact, brainstorm proposal ideas, and engage in live Q&A sessions with educators from TechRise 2021. Whether you teach Science and Engineering or are just excited about inspiring your students to get involved with STEM, 6th-12th-grade educators from all backgrounds are invited to join us for this event!

If you are in sixth to 12th grade at a U.S. public, private, or charter school – including those in U.S. territories – your challenge is to team up with your schoolmates and develop an experiment idea for this year’s NASA TechRise flight vehicle – the high-altitude balloon!

When the lights go out and the doors close, everything in the museum seems to come to life! Bring your flashlights and explore the museum in the dark! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. No reservations needed. Regular museum admission applies. FREE for current museum members! Lights go out at 6pm, but feel free to come early to see the museum with the lights on! We know it’s around dinner time so you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks to enjoy in our dining area.
