Pets of Pima Parade (POPP) is a celebration of the love between pets and humans, inviting community members from across Tucson and Pima County to show-off their cherished companions. People are invited to participate with their pets of all shapes, sizes, and species.

Happy New Year! Tucson was built by a variety of people and cultures. Come visit us to learn about some of their New Year’s celebrations. Activities may include making noisemakers, salt snowflakes, or paper lanterns.

All activities are included with regular museum admission and will run from 10 am-1 pm.

Participants will learn about the art and culture of some of the people important to the growth of Tucson, including the indigenous, Mexican, and Chinese cultures. Activities may include creating petroglyphs, making papel picado, designing your own alebrijes, or making Chinese dragons.
