“May the 4th be with you.” According to Star Wars.com what started as a pun warmly shared by fans has become a full-fledged Star Wars holiday: Star Wars Day, a special once-a-year celebration of the galaxy far, far away. Once the Internet allowed Star Wars fans around the world to connect with one another, May the 4th soon became a grassroots tradition each year, with fans online and offline proclaiming it “Star Wars Day.”

Get ready for some fun in a galaxy far far away at Bookmans Northwest (Ina/Thornydale). Stop by from 6-8 p.m., on May 4th wearing your Star Wars best and enter to win a Bookmans gift certificate in our cosplay contest! Make your own pool noodle light saber and enjoy an evening of Star Wars fun.
