Are you ready to get spooked? Then strap on your boots, partner, because Nightfall is back at Old Tucson. Kicking off its new entertainment season, Nightfall is in its 26th year and it’s loaded with ghoulishly new and returning favorites of comedy, drama, music and scary good times dwelling within Tucson’s one-of-a-kind haunted town. It’s a frightful feast specifically for Halloween. With new and old attractions, walkthroughs, haunted houses and shows, there are hours of fun for every member of the family.

In April, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) held a celebration to raise awareness—Help a Horse Day. Rescues and sanctuaries across the nation hosted events to showcase the work they do and show the community how they can help.

Help a Horse Day exceeded expectations with 187 participating organizations, 107 applications, and over 40 states holding events between April 22–26. Over $1 million was donated by over 33,000 generous people.

Television went from bulky boxes running with chords and antennas to flat screen, ultra high quality picture with nearly no wires or cables. Cell phones started from massive brick phones to tiny, thin phones that could fit in your pocket comfortably. Everything from MP3 players to portable video game consoles like Gameboys and Nintendos have evolved so fast, that most kids of this generation probably shiver upon hearing the phrase “flip phone”. However, one might perk up upon logging onto the internet and seeing that Apple has made a new IPhone.
