SALT RIVER FIREFIGHTERS, THE NATIONAL FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS FOUNDATION, AND SALT RIVER FIELDS AT TALKING STICK PROUDLY PRESENT THE 8th ANNUAL 9/11 MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB SEPTEMBER 14, 2024.

Salt River Firefighters and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick have proudly partnered with the National Fallen Firefighters foundation to host this event. All proceeds will benefit the NFFF, the Salt River Firefighters Relief Fund, and provide assistance to families of our fallen brothers and sisters in the Public Safety community.

Join us on Saturday August 3, at the park’s wet and wild summer event, Slide the Rails. This will be the perfect way to end the summer and slide into the new school year.  There will be a variety of inflatable water slides and obstacle courses suitable for all ages. Make sure you visit the fun foam pit too! Cold drinks and tasty treats will be available for purchase. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sky is not the limit for the last Free Family Summer Saturday of the season. Join fellow scientists for a day of activities at the Heard Museum connected to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

If you and your family love hands-on learning, you won’t want to miss this program. Free Summer Saturday: Full STEAM Ahead is a day of family-friendly fun at the museum.

In the animal kingdom, nothing is quite as it seems. Join us at 1 P.M. when the Phoenix Zoo will be here to teach us about the animals around us. We will play a fact or fiction game in the pursuit of the truth as well as meet some wonderful animals! Live animals, free event, how can you miss this?
