Tempe is the first city in Arizona to offer a city-specific curriculum and patch for Girl Scouts to learn more about this vibrant community.

Local Girl Scouts can head over to the Tempe History Museum on Saturday, Aug. 12, to celebrate the kickoff of the new patch – and even complete one requirement to start earning it!

Alwun House welcomes friends and neighbors to come have a cool splash. The Art Park will get converted into a Water Park. We will have a giant 24 foot tall waterslide to splash around and cool off for a fun Splash Day. We’ll also have a splash pad for toddlers and doggos! Plus, there will be super soaker squirt guns, water balls and other fun games like chalk drawing! Arizona Sno-Shack will be there with shaved ice snow-cones where you can put your own flavored syrups on! The first 100 kids (under 16) get a FREE snow-cone.
