a bilingual puppet show that champions the value of learning a second language.

This family friendly production is the Mayan version of the legend of chocolate with original music by Las Azaleas.

A huge tradition at The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club is our Friday night barbecues.  From May 5th through September 29th at 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., we feature a different line-up of some of Tucson’s favorite bands.  We fire up the mesquite wood barbecue and grill a variety of value-priced items with your favorite sides.  Grab your lawn chair or blanket and while the kids play in the pool enjoy some good music in a safe, friendly atmosphere.  Open to non-members for $5.00 per person.  Members and their accompanied guests are of course admitted at no charge.  Lifeguards are on duty.

Marissa Olegario, professor of bassoon at the Fox School of Music at the UofA here in Tucson is the featured soloist on her bassoon. For over 20 years Over 23 years the Tucson Pops Orchestra performed “My Yiddishe Momme” on Mother’s Day concert. To keep the tradition going Marissa and me with my clarinet will present a duet rendition of that wonderful song honoring all mothers.
