I was lucky enough to interview author Katherine Applegate. She is the author of “The One and Only Ivan,” “The One and Only Bob” and her most recent book is “Odder.” “Odder” is about the life of an otter and the struggles she faces. A fun fact I learned from Applegate: otters sleep a lot.

EGGstravaganza in Mansfield Park

Tucson Parks and Recreation and United Healthcare invite you to the 24th annual EGGstravaganza. This free, community-wide event is about having family fun and is expected to attract more than 2,000 Tucson youth. Family activities include music, games, prizes, egg hunts, and the Easter Bunny. A variety of foods will be available for purchase through local vendors.
