Tucson Juneteenth Festival Inc is celebrating 52 years in Southern Arizona, recognizing the Freed Slaves of June 19, 1865, from Galveston, Texas. Come celebrate with us with song, food and fun.

 It will be held at Kennedy Park on June 18th, 2022! We expect a big turnout this year (anywhere from 2000-5000) as it will be our first in person festival after Covid! All are welcome to come join us, so please come out and help us make this year great!

We are kicking off this summer with a ginormous kids cosplay contest, thanks to Tucson Comic-Con! Stop by from 10 am-11 am on June 8th at Bookmans East dressed in your best cosplay of your favorite character and enter to win an awesome prize pack brought to you by Bookmans and Tucson Comic-Con.

Enjoy the Zoo and cooler evening temperatures as you watch the sunset at this series of themed nights featuring different keeper chats, animal encounters, artifact stations, and special activities. Refresh with dinner and a cold drink at the Zoofari Market, listen to live music by some of Tucson’s best bands. Take a ride on the Cox Jungle Carousel, and play games with Tucson Parks and Recreation’s ‘Ready, Set, Rec! There will be a different theme each week, so every visit brings something new and plenty of photo opportunities to remember a great evening.
