Bookmans River Celebrates First Anniversary with a Paper Sale

We invite our community to join in celebrating the first anniversary of the Bookmans River location on Saturday, Nov. 16! Families and book lovers alike can enjoy exclusive in-store promotions, interactive activities and more—each highlighting Bookmans’ commitment to sustainability, community and creativity centered around the one year Paper Anniversary.

Free Clothing for Tucson Unified Students!

• Appointments preferred but not required
• No referrals or income requirements
• Available for all enrolled Tucson Unified students
• Students can receive 5 tops, 3 bottoms and 1 pair of shoes
• Siblings of students can receive 3 tops, 2 bottoms and a pair of shoes

We are on the northwest corner of Magnolia Ave and Fifth St., one block east of Rosemont. SunTran Bus Route #3

• There is no charge to enter either contest!
• Ages K-12 may submit their original stories and poetry, or create original works of art to enter the competition
• Young Author winners receive a $100 gift certificate to the UA Campus Store and Young Artist winners receive $100 of art supplies; each are recognized at the Tucson Festival of Books on March 15, 2025.
• Deadline to submit entries is December 19, 2024 by 4:30 p.m.

PBS Kids Day at CMT

Children’s Museum Tucson is partnering with AZPM for PBS Kids Day at CMT!

With an eye toward literacy, we will have exciting events, author reading and PBS Kids characters! The outside event is free; Museum admission is pay-what-you-wish.

We have emptied our storage container which held many years of donated items.

Most items are being sold as

MAKE AN OFFER LOTS,

a box or plastic container of like items.

Some individual items and new items will be priced.

Outside the museum entrance there will be about 10 tables as well as boxes on the ground.

The store will be full of our new trains and the best used trains.
