Rappel to propel Girl Scouts in the community.

In partnership with Over the Edge, a professional event and rappelling organization, The Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona invites community members to rappel down a building in an exciting and safe environment. 

Each rappeler will fundraise $1,000 individually which will go directly to impact girls in Southern Arizona by allowing the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona to continue developing and refining innovative programs and opportunities for every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout.

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero, Ward 2 Council Member Paul Cunningham, and Tucson Parks and Recreation invite you to a hauntingly good time as we celebrate the completion of a new splash pad at Jesse Owens Park. This project, located next to the existing pool, marks the City’s 10th splash pad. The event will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. at Jesse Owens Park, 400 S. Sarnoff Drive.
