City of Tucson Vice Mayor and Ward 3 Council Member Kevin Dahl and Tucson Parks and Recreation are excited to celebrate the opening of Mansfield Pool, 2275 N. 4th Ave., and its new water slide on Saturday, June 1, at 3 p.m. The pool will be open from 1-7 p.m. and a community celebration will be hosted from 3-7 p.m. Be one of the first people down the water slide and enjoy free swimming, music, food, and “Ready, Set, Rec!” with some fun water games.

Tucson Parks and Recreation will celebrate the grand opening of a new playground and its newest and largest dog park. The event will take place on Thursday, May 23, at 9 a.m., and the community is invited to join in the celebration. There will be goodies donated by Dogs-n-Donuts, Pet Friendly Fun, and Cones for Bones. There will also be a special cake for the dogs to enjoy from Dogs-n-Donuts.
