Mary Poppins is a beloved Disney musical film released in 1964, directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke as Bert. The film tells the story of the Banks family in early 20th-century London, particularly focusing on the children, Jane and Michael Banks. Their father, Mr. Banks, is preoccupied with his job at the bank, while their mother is busy with suffragette activities. When the children become too much for their revolving door of nannies, Mary Poppins mysteriously arrives to take care of them.
