Tucson Parks and Recreation is looking for talented bands with artists between the ages of 13-18 years old to compete at the High School Battle of the Bands this spring. The winning band will receive studio time and promotion of their newly recorded release, with publicity from Best Life Presents. Interested bands can apply online, now through Friday, March 15.

Bear Essential News Summer Camp Expo 2024

Free family-friendly event! 

Visit with staff and directors of Summer Camps. Traditional camps, art camps, sports camps, STEM camps and more. Some of the camps will have a drawing to win a Free Week of camp!

ROUTE CHANGE FOR 2024 TUCSON RODEO PARADE

The 99th annual Tucson Rodeo Parade will take place on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024 at 9 a.m.  In cooperation with the City of Tucson, the new parade route will begin at South 12th Avenue and Drexel Road, proceed East on Drexel to Old Nogales Highway, then turn North, ending at Irvington Road.

Tucson Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Tucson Peace Center to host the 40th Annual Peace Fair & Music Festival and Ready, Set, Rec! 3rd Anniversary Celebration at Armory Park on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Festivities include live music, children's activities and food vendors. Make sure to take advantage of the City's free public transit to get there!
