Did you know that the Elks Lodge Organization hosts a free throw shooting contest called the Elks National Hoop Shoot? The Hoop Shoot is over 50 years old, in partnership with The Basketball Hall of Fame and free to all participants.

Winning the Hoop Shoot gives you a chance to inscribe your name in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Tucson Parks and Recreation is looking for talented bands with artists between the ages of 13-18 years old to compete at the High School Battle of the Bands this spring. The winning band will receive studio time and promotion of their newly recorded release, with publicity from Best Life Presents. Interested bands can apply online, now through Friday, March 15.

Bear Essential News Summer Camp Expo 2024

Free family-friendly event! 

Visit with staff and directors of Summer Camps. Traditional camps, art camps, sports camps, STEM camps and more. Some of the camps will have a drawing to win a Free Week of camp!

The first 50 kids ages 4–14 will receive a free golf pass from Golf N' Stuff.
