This national one-day party held the last Saturday in April celebrates independent bookstores across the country. Through exclusive books and literary items, contests, fun activities, and everything in between, it’s a party you don’t want to miss! And at Bookmans all events are ALWAYS FREE!

We’re throwing a full-on bookish bash for Independent Bookstore Day—and you’re invited. Whether you’re rolling for initiative or just here for the balloons, we’ve got something for everyone:

10:30 AM to 11:00 AM Join AZ Curriculum Theater for a special interactive session! Dive into the world of Shakespeare with engaging games, culminating in a performance of Puck’s iconic speech from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Perfect for all ages—come play, learn, and experience the magic of the Bard in a fun and creative way!

 1–3 PM: Watch balloon twisting magic come to life

 3–6 PM: Enter the realm at our epic Dungeons & Dragons Game Night

All Day: Crafts, games, and fun for the whole fam
