Description:
Join expert Mark Bahti exploring the Amerind Museum’s world-class Native
jewelry collections. Mark will use Amerind’s extensive collections to teach
workshop participants about the history of jewelry arts in the Southwest,
from materials and techniques to the makers, the traders, and the economic
and social relationships behind the Native American jewelry trade.
Participants are encouraged to bring pieces from their own collection for
evaluation by an expert.
Cost: $100 per person (members, includes box lunch)
