Have you ever wondered about concerts in the parks? Who performs and how do musicians find out about concert opportunities? Who puts all this enjoyment together?

Deanna Ortiz, Recreation Coordinator for the City of Goodyear is responsible for searching for a variety of musicians to perform at the concerts.

“The mission of this event is a commitment to offer a variety of programs and events to the community.  We strive to build community and enhance the quality of life,” says Ortiz.

The Spring Concert Series, located at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear began March 24^th, March 31^st, April 14^th and April 21^st.  Concerts begin at 7:00pm and end at 9:00pm.

Ortiz says the concerts are free. “You can bring a blanket, lawn chair, food and beverages while enjoying live entertainment.”
