If you have elementary-age students/kids check out the Live Chat Series this Summer and Fall with former NASA Astronauts (organized by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation)! The first Live Chat is with former NASA Astronaut and American Naval Officer Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 at 2:00 PM ET for elementary-age children and their educators/parents/guardians. 

Kids will have a chance to listen to Heide's stories about her career journey in aviation and her time in space. They will also have a chance to participate in a Q&A session with Heide at the end of the Live Chat. This is such a cool opportunity for young children who may be out of school for the summer (parents seeking activities to keep them busy) and/or kids who may be participating in summer learning programs/camps.
