The TechRise Student Challenge invites students in grades 6-12 to design, build, and launch science and technology experiments on a suborbital flight test. Sixty winning teams from across the country will receive $1,500 to build their experiment, technical support, and a spot on a rocket-powered lander or high-altitude balloon. No experience is necessary. Student teams from U.S. public, private, and charter schools – including those in U.S. territories – are eligible. The entry deadline is Friday, Oct. 20.
