Oro Valley Parks and Recreation will be hosting a FREE community event for those with furry family dogs at home. Join the fun on Saturday, September 28th from 5pm-8pm at Steam Pump Ranch for Bark in the Park. Bring your family, friends and doggies! The Dog Costume Contest will have on-site registration the day of the event. Entry is free!
Event Features:
- meet adoptable dogs
- eat at amazing food trucks (both main dish and dessert!)
- decorate a bandana for your dog
- puppy dog crafts for kids
- make your pup a work of art with ink-free paw printing
- participate in the dog costume contest with prizes furnished by Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank
- peruse local pet-related business/organization booths
- let your pet play in ball pits with 100s of tennis balls
- strike a pose in the Bark in the Park themed photo booth with printable photo strips!
- bring packaged pet food for a drive to benefit the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank
- enjoy activities in the AC with the Pima County Library's staff and their dogs while learning more about their Read to a Dog program
