The Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ is a mind-blowing instrument that once played in the Fox Theatre in the 1930s-1940s! Its thousands of pipes and other instruments enabled one musician to provide all the music and sound effects for a silent movie. Bring your students to “meet” the newly restored organ at the Fox, where an acclaimed theatre organist will present students with an accessible program that includes popular music for kids (perhaps with some spooky Halloween songs!), a showcase of how the organ works, and a short, comedic silent movie with organ accompaniment.

The Fox’s featured organist, Dave Wickerham
