It's the perfect time to explore all the ways we get around! Kids and their grownups will learn and discover with crafts, stories, activities, and live demonstrations. From rolling on a skateboard to flying through the sky, you're sure to find something to get your imagination moving!

Tempe Time Machine happens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. Admission is free and registration is not required. While our focus is on kids from 3 to 10 years old, Tempe Time Machine is fun for all ages.

 See a real Tempe Fire Department fire truck in the Museum plaza from 10 a.m. to Noon!

Get up close with a real fire truck, craft your own community helper badge, and design a helicopter you can actually put to the test! Race your friends in the Rescue Relay, collect a stamp in your Time Travelers Passport, and send a special thank you postcard to one of Tempe’s real-life heroes. This action-packed day of creativity, movement, and hands-on fun is one you won’t want to miss.
