Join Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (TAAA) for our annual Tucson Astronomy Festival at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park. We will have Solar Observing in the afternoon and Telescope observing of planets, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and lots more in the evening after dark. We will also have astronomy activities for the entire family throughout the event. Youth 17 and under can be entered to win a telescope. There will be other door prizes as well. Winners must be present to win. Door prizes will be given away starting at 7 p.m. Bring your own telescope if you want help using it. The event is free. No food will be available so consider bringing a picnic dinner.
