About Valley of the Moon
Valley of the Moon is 2 1/3 acres in midtown Tucson and was built in the 1920’s by George Phar Legler as a center for imagination, mental health and spiritual relaxation. It was listed on the Arizona State Register of Historic Places in 1975, the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, and Tucson Historic Landmark in 2015.
