Teens ages 12-17: Join us to celebrate National Poetry Month in a series of four special writing workshops throughout the month of April, all happening Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm. Join us for one workshop or all four!

  • April 4th: Blackout Collage Poetry. Find inspiration from old books and magazines and collage your own creative "found" poem!
  • April 11thWriting and Music. Music is very much like poetry. Explore sound and rhythm then write your own poem or song!
  • April 18thWriting from Nature. With local author Marge Pellegrino! Meet us in the 101 Space then we’ll head outside to Jacome Plaza and explore the power of combining writing and nature.
  • April 25th: Paint Chip Poetry. Blast through writer’s block and explore imagery in writing through colors and art! Based on a game created by bestselling author Lea Redmond.

No registration required. All supplies provided.
