Teens ages 12-17: Join us to celebrate National Poetry Month in a series of four special writing workshops throughout the month of April, all happening Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm. Join us for one workshop or all four!
- April 4th: Blackout Collage Poetry. Find inspiration from old books and magazines and collage your own creative "found" poem!
- April 11th: Writing and Music. Music is very much like poetry. Explore sound and rhythm then write your own poem or song!
- April 18th: Writing from Nature. With local author Marge Pellegrino! Meet us in the 101 Space then we’ll head outside to Jacome Plaza and explore the power of combining writing and nature.
- April 25th: Paint Chip Poetry. Blast through writer’s block and explore imagery in writing through colors and art! Based on a game created by bestselling author Lea Redmond.
No registration required. All supplies provided.
