Do you know someone who has had a blood cancer? Chances are, if you do, they may have been helped by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. One person is diagnosed every three minutes with blood cancer. Another 171,550 are expected to be diagnosed in 2016 according to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society.

Christina Szilvassy, campaign assistant for Pennies for Patients, says the society began in 1949. Its mission is to find a cure for blood cancer. It supports families and patients fighting cancer by assisting them with co-pays and travel programs.

Childsplay

Childsplay began 40 years ago. David Saar, graduate student at ASU, wanted to bring a group of actors together to put imagination and wonder in the minds and hearts of children. The mission of Childsplay is “to create theater so strikingly original in form, content or both that it instills in young people an enduring awe, love and respect for the medium, thus preserving imagination and wonder, those hallmarks of childhood that are the keys to the future.”

It’s going to get a little weird and wild! Star vs. the Forces of Evil is coming back to Disney XD July 11! Created by Daron Nefcy, the show aired on Disney XD on March 30, 2015. The two live in the same household. Star is a foreign exchange student, and she and Marco were enemies at first, but now are best friends. Marvel's Captain America Civil War

Captain America: Civil War was a great movie. I loved it—it was awesome.

I liked that lots of Marvel heroes joined in and helped the teams. I really didn’t know why they were fighting. There was no scary stuff in it, to me. I loved it. I don’t think any part of it was boring.
It is rated PG-13 because of some violence, language and rude humor.

If the Roadrunner name sounds familiar, maybe it’s because the Phoenix Roadrunners were the name of Arizona’s rst professional sports team in 1967.

Television went from bulky boxes running with chords and antennas to flat screen, ultra high quality picture with nearly no wires or cables. Cell phones started from massive brick phones to tiny, thin phones that could fit in your pocket comfortably. Everything from MP3 players to portable video game consoles like Gameboys and Nintendos have evolved so fast, that most kids of this generation probably shiver upon hearing the phrase “flip phone”. However, one might perk up upon logging onto the internet and seeing that Apple has made a new IPhone.
