THE PIGEON COMES TO PHOENIX

Do you like the Mo Willems’ book “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus”? Have you read “The Elephant and Piggie” book series? If so, you should visit the Children’s Museum of Phoenix where there is an exhibit hosted by the Pigeon. There are so many games and activities to enjoy with many of Willems’ books characters.

At The Pigeon Arcade you can play the Hot Dog Launcher. It is so much fun to launch the hot dog and try to hit your favorite character: the Pigeon or the Duckling. At The Pigeon Palace Theater you can play with the flip boxes to see the Pigeon flapping his wings faster and faster!

Try the Elephones! They are sooooo much fun! You sit one side of the phone booth and the other person sits on the other side. One of you sounds like Gerald and the other person sounds like Piggie when talking over the phone. It is hilarious! There is an Art Studio, a Thank-O-Rama Wheel, and many more opportunities to enjoy a day at the museum.

The Pigeon and his friends will be at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix through Jan. 14, 2024. If you like the great characters from Mo Willems’ books, you will have lots of fun at this exhibit. Plan your visit to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, play, draw, and let your imagination sparkle!
