Now through Oct. 29 the Arizona State Fair will bring you fun, food, rides, and great events! From Monster Trucks to the iceskating show “Beauty and the Beast,” from the Read and Ride program to the Arizona Milk Producers mascot Daisy, it will be exciting!

Gates open at noon and close at 9 p.m. Thursday and Sunday and at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. On Feel Good Fridays, before 6 p.m., people can receive one free admission in exchange for 10 cans of food. It is an opportunity to support your community! If you decide to visit the fair on Friday, you can also enjoy $3 food items at every food stand from noon to 6 p.m.

Children ages 5 through 14 can participate of the Read and Ride program. Read three books get three FREE rides. Go online to www.azstatefair.com/readandride/  and have your parent or teacher print the form. Write which books you read and have your parent or teacher sign the form to get the free rides!

Arizona Milk Producers mascot Daisy will be there Sept. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m., and Oct. 28 from 12 to 2 p.m., p.m. at the Barns. Come and take a picture with Daisy! Arizona Milk Producers are also offering Kerr’s Farm Tours at The Agricultural Center. You will have the opportunity to see and learn about baby dairy cattle, turkeys,sheep, goats, chicks and more!
