I recently attended the screening of the movie “Dog Man.” The screening took place at Harkins Camelview in Scottsdale. Have you heard of the new “Dog Man” movie? It is currently playing in theaters and get ready to laugh because it’s super funny.

If you haven't read the books about Dog Man, he is part man, part dog and he fights crime in the city of Lakeville. This movie is an animated version. It is really cool and has awesome graphics.

If you have not watched “Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania,” you should. I highly suggest it. In this comedy the monsters are back, but not how they used to be. Say hello to change because these crazy monsters really get caught up in a mess when they turn themselves into humans!

This movie stars Selena Gomez as Mavis and Adam Samberg as Johnny. I would definitely rate this movie a four and a half out of 5. One of my favorite parts is when Johnny is a giant monster and Mavis still calls him “sweetie.”

Last month my family and I went on a Cub Scout Camping weekend at Camp Raymond in Williams, Arizona. Even my sister went. Did you know that girls can be Cub Scouts, too?

We met up with our troop, set up our tent and headed out for a cool hike. On the hike, we caught crayfish and minnows in a little pond. Another troop was supposed to meet us, but the Webelos got a little lost and it took a while for them to find us. Some of the older scouts came over on the hike carrying a snake. It was a garter snake and I got to hold it.

The Paint by Pom Pom craft is so much fun. Maybe you know about paint by number, and this is like that, only there’s no paint, there’s only little soft pom poms.

Actually, there are 800 soft pom poms made out of felt. They all are like stickers and have something sticky on the back that holds the pom poms on the board—you don’t need any glue!

I like to read and when my sister received a coloring book about the Ninja Kitties she asked me to read it to her.

Each kitty has a personality with an inner strength like staying positive, being friendly or funny, being competitive or always thoughtful. I interviewed my sister to find out which kitty she thought was most like her.

I am writing this report about a game called “Dino Crunch” by Goliath Games. It’s really fun because the T-rex tries to bite you. There are big tweezers that you grab the eggs with, and the noises sound like you’re in the wild with the dinosaurs.

I’m 8 and I played with my 5-year-old sister and my mom (she said I didn’t have to tell her age) and we all had fun! Although the tweezers made it hard to pick up the eggs, it was interesting and fun because the T-rex would snap at you when you were least expecting it. This game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 4 and up.

I’ve been enjoying the Earth while being out of school, because of school closures due to COVID-19.  I’ve been doing a lot of hiking through Arizona.  I saw a lot of wildlife like chuckwallas, geckos and chipmunks.  I even got to see a beehive up close.  My dad got me a new bike and I’ve been riding it all over the neighborhood with him.  My sister and I made obstacle course in our backyard.  I’ve had a lot of fun doing these things outdoors.
