Seeing a total solar eclipse from anywhere on Earth is awesome, but seeing it from the path of totality is spectacular! A total solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth and completely blocks the Sun. Getting to see the totality of he solar eclipse depends on where you are on Earth. Totality is when the moon fully blocks the Sun from our view on Earth. If you are not on the path of totality, you can still see part of the eclipse. Phoenix saw 64 percent of the total eclipse.

Last year, Google added the AI Overview feature, which summarizes search results using generative AI. The problem is that it sometimes gets stuff wrong—really, really wrong.

Googling “health benefits of running with scissors” produced this response: “Running with scissors is a cardio exercise that can increase your heart rate...” Searching for “cheese not sticking to pizza” generated a Google AI Overview with this recommendation: “...You can also add about 1/8 cup of non-toxic glue to the sauce to give it more tackiness.”

According to Dow, Nurse Florence is a book series that helps kids learn more about their bodies and how they work, while also honoring the historic champion of the nursing profession, Florence Nightingale. Dow has an extensive collection of Florence Nightingale memorabilia, including a first edition of “Notes On Nursing,” published in 1860.

There has been lots of fun in town for those who enjoy basketball. Phoenix Mercury had two Open House events, one in March and another in April. Also, this year Phoenix was the host for the NCAA Men’s Final Four, and April 5–8 there were many fun events. I have been so lucky to participate in a Mercury Open House, to be part of the Men’s Final Four Dribble event presented by Buick, and to go to the Men’s Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One.
