“The Bookwanderers” is about how Matilda (Tilly) Pages finds out that there is more to her grandparent’s bookshop and her mother’s mysterious disappearance than she could have imagined.

When Tilly sees her favorite book characters like Alice from Wonderland and Anne of Green Gables, she finds out that she can bookwander into any book. She can use this ability to find the truth about what happened to her mother many years ago.

This is one of my favorite books because I love the mystery and excitement of the story. I like how it mentions and quotes other book like “Anne of Green Gables,” “A Little Princess,” “Treasure Island” and more. I can relate to Tilly because she loves to read and is funny.

This book is in a series of books called The Pages and Co. Series. Currently there are five books in the series, but another one will be published in the fall.

The author, Anna James, is a British writer that lives in North London. Aside from being an author she is a school librarian and journalist. I recommend this book and the series to other readers. I found the books to be exciting, mysterious and made me want to keep reading to find out the ending.
