Join Girl Scouts—Arizona Cactus-Pine Council and State Forty Eight Foundation, in partnership with State Forty Eight, for the annual Bring Home the Cookies 5K benefiting both charitable organizations. Together, we’ll celebrate the end of the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Program with a community run-walk that empowers Arizona’s entrepreneurs for a sweeter future.

January 20, 27 & February 3, 2024 

This three-day series is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your little one to our gentle equine.  These hands-on caregiving classes includes learning the basic needs of a horse, grooming, feeding, an introduction to riding and more! This is a great time for you and your child to come and have fun with horses while learning safe practices as we do it. This program is designed for children ages 3 to 4 years old. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.  Program is 3 days for one hour sessions.

Juneteenth (June 19) is the one of the oldest known commemorations related to the abolition of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth National Independence Day was signed into law as a national holiday on June 17, 2021. The word “Juneteenth” is a Black English contraction, or portmanteau, of the month “June” and the date “Nineteenth.” Juneteenth celebrates the date of June 19, 1865, when enslaved people of African descent located in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom from the slavery system in the United States.
