Kindergarten is the launchpad for your child as they begin to navigate the world more independently.

When entering a Tucson Unified kindergarten classroom, you lead your child as they take an important step on their journey to adulthood.

For many children, this will be their first time apart from family. For some, they will be stepping from the care of a preschool or daycare into a bigger community.

For all children, they will learn to rely on themselves, other children, and their teachers as part of a class, school, and education system.
